About Me

Jeanie McAfee is a licensed physician with more than fifteen years of experience in the field of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).  For several years she specialized in helping individuals with autism learn to deal with anxiety, depression, and social skills difficulties.  Since 2013 she has shifted her practice to helping people in the general population cope with depression, PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and relationship issues.

As shown in numerous and extensive research studies, CBT has been proven to be effective for a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, particularly depression, anxiety and PTSD.  Jeanie McAfee has had specific training in the treatment of these issues through the world-renowned Beck Institute in Philadelphia.
